Precision machined from Ti6Al4V (more commonly known as grade 5 titanium), this is a fantastic way to cut down on weight. Optimized flex characteristics and much smoother surface finish than the OEM pivot allows for smoother action and less wear and tear during insertion/extraction. Although certainly not an upgrade for everyone, for those in the upper level of their bike build, this is a great way to eliminate hundreds of grams. After all, Every Gram Matters!
