ANTIQUE 1861 LETTER TOMPKINS & BARR EUFALA ALABAMA:

7 3/4" by 7 1/2" blue lined paper, dated August 1861, sent to hardware merchants in Macon, Georgia regarding payment owed and asking about the price of "black enamel cloth". Since Tompkins & Barr had an ongoing business relationship with the Macon firm, I'm guessing that Tompkins & Barr were a hardware or general store in Eufala. Paper has fold lines and some faint soiling.
