I have here for sale a rare copy of ANALISI DELLA CARTA COROGRAFICADEL PATRIMONIO DI S.PIETRO CORREDATA DI ALCUNE MEMORIE STORICHE ED ECONOMICHE di MONSIGNOR GIUSEPPE MOROZZO - VECCHIA. -Analysis of the Chorographic Map of the Patrimony of Saint Peter, accompanied by some Historical and Economic memories of Monsignor Giuseppe Morozzo. Thought to be a first edition, it was published in 1791 by Giunchiana, Rome. Dedicated to Pope Pius VI.Printed on hand made paper.
Bound in original paper covers. Title lettering and engraved vignette to front cover. Unfortunately cover is stained ( through to page 1) with historical worming over several pages. Pages have never been stitched and bound, they are uncut, just as they would have arrived straight from the printers. Page edges are rough cut. Cornes are creased and edges darkened with age.
