There is also pencil writing/doodling on an endpaper.The orange cloth boards show rubbing, discoloration, staining/soiling and edge/corner wear. Spine and binding show substantial wear, including fraying and deterioration at the spine ends. All pages still bound together tightly. Pages show age toning, scattered foxing, spotting and staining. Some pages/sections sit unevenly due to the aged binding.Despite the condition issues, the book retains its illustrated pages and attractive rural illustrated endpapers and remains an interesting reading/collecting copy of this Jesse Stuart title.Please examine all photos carefully.
