This book is a Review Copy and retains its original Review Slip, sent by the University of California Press and which refers to a publication date of 27 August 1981. The review slip mentions the publication price of £10.25 and this has been hand written at the top righthand corner of the front fly page - see photos. This is the only marking anywhere in the book and I suspect was put there by the publisher. The photos also show the ISBN, etc
The book is in very good condition, including the dust jacket, and espcially for its 45 years of age, and I would question whether it has actually ever been read?
