O.E.M or is a STOCK replacment Camshaft & Lifters Set. This set of Camshaft & Lifters is supplied by EngineTech, but are manufactured by either MELLING or CLEVITE. These parts are manufactured only at O.E.M. facilities so you know you are getting a quality product.  These engine parts are purchased from the top-quality American companies in large quantaties to save YOU money. 

These Camshafts/Lifters are produced from ALL NEW castings. In order to meet the high demands of after-market use, these camshafts have higher cromium and nickel content when compaired to OE material; which is crucial and the foundation of a long lasting dependable camshaft.  These Cams are flame hardened resulting in a deep hardening that will easily last the life of the engine.  Long term resistence to wear is also aided by heat treating the wear surfaces of the Cam.  Cam lobe is a critical part of the valve train operation and engine performance.  These Camshafts are produced on CNC machines that can duplicate the same profile, part after part.  REDLINE and these precision manufactured camshafts offer these distinct camshafts are manufactured under strict 'statistical process control' quality assurence procedures.  Precision manufacturing assures OEM or better camshaft camshaft metallurgy is tested throughout the manufacturing process.  This insures proper hardness and eliminates wear caused by inferior grade materials.
