This frameset is either original paint or has a factory repaint. It looks new with clear coated, sealed stickers!

Best I can tell it’s 1972 ? model and my research says that for it to have the chrome lugs in the front the way they were done, it was made as a showpiece.

When I purchased it, it had a bent-in rear drop out from shipping. It took me a few months to find a TIG welder who could fix the bend and reinforce the dropout on both sides of the driveside dropout. The fix process was called a tungsten inert gas weld / reinforcement. It’s now stronger than before the bend and aligned. Additionally, tension pin fits perfectly, however, not included in the sale. See pics of the dropout.

This frame had a 120mm rear drop out. I took the bike to my local bike shop in Reston and had it professionally recalibrated to a 126mm dropout which now looks amazing. It now will fit up to a 32 mm tire in the front and back and you will never find that in a Colnago Super bike.

Bike has a few few few paint chips which are highlighted in the pictures. No dents or dings!

Seat binder I found online sn appears to work ok. No guarantees on that one.

I do have some touchup paint that I purchased from a high-end automotive shop that I think is a really really really close match, however, that’s up to you if you want to use that.
