Up for sale is a rare opportunity to acquire a classic piece of 1950s Scandinavian toy history. This listing features a vintage 1/43 scale Tekno Denmark No. 801 Jaguar XK120 Roadster in its scarce gold-yellow colorway, complete with an original illustrated Tekno box.As a special bonus, I am including a matching-era Tekno No. 802 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 body in orange. Please read the detailed condition reports below for both items before offerding.
1. Tekno No. 801 Jaguar XK120 Roadster. Good Vintage Condition. The car shows honest signs of age with minor paint chipping and flea bites along the raised body lines, fender arches, and rear deck. The original white steering wheel is fully intact and undamaged. The base, axles, and wheels are straight and structurally solid. A very presentable shelf piece.
2. Original Tekno Card Box (Labeled for No. 802) Poor to Fair. The box is fragile, heavily creased, and worn. Both end flaps have significant tearing and missing card stock. However, the vintage side illustrations of the red sports car and the classic "Tekno" typography are still bold, bright, and make an excellent background display element for the Jaguar.
3. BONUS ITEM: Tekno No. 802 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500. Poor / Salvage / Parts Only (Included as a free bonus). This car has severe structural damage, including a major fatigue fracture/crack that splits completely across the rear deck casting behind the interior compartment. There is extensive paint loss and flaking revealing the underlying grey metal. The steering wheel remains intact. This piece is included strictly as a restoration challenge, a donor car for parts, or an interesting display example of vintage diecast metal fatigue.
