I am pleased to present the 2025 Mexico Libertad Proof strike in 1/10 ounce of .999 Fine Silver. Coin has been graded a perfect PR70 Deep Cameo by PCGS. But it’s not the history of this coin that has collectors in a tizzy about the 2025 1/10 Oz strike. It’s not the perfect PR70 DCAM grade either. And it’s not a special one year only design change that has collectors and investors jazzed about the 2025 Libertad strikes. It’s all about the MINTAGES. The 2025 1/10 Oz for example boasts a minuscule tally of just 1,500 coins struck. That’s a far cry from its previous years mintages that saw them run as high as 300,000 per annum. The Casa de Moneda de Mexico shocked the coin collecting hobby when they announced the mintages for the Libertad sizes for 2025. It was called a “Black Swan” event.
