2007 Brenderup Royal TC Horse Trailer For Sale

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION.I am selling my 2007 Brenderup Royal TC. I am the original and only owner and have the title in hand. The trailer is being sold \"as is\".As it is almost 20 years old it does have a couple of “issues”. I have consistently used this trailer for my horses up until this last year. We have not gone anywhere in the last year. The primary issue is that I did find a soft spot when cleaning and going over it. It is directly under the “man door” on the right (driver) side of the trailer. I have included a picture where I outlined the area. While you can see it when you have the mats up, it is in an area where you cannot see or feel it from the bottom of the trailer. There is a steel lip that runs around the perimeter of the trailer that is about 4-5” wide and the area that is soft is sitting on that steel lip. I had water sealed the floor almost ever year so otherwise it had held up quite well. I don’t know anything about repairing or replacing the floor but, my assumption is that that it may be possible to replace the front half of the floor versus the entire floor since there are steel supports at intervals the length of the trailer. The rest of the floor is solid. The second issue is that one of the axels is bent in such a way that I have had to replace 1 tire twice in the lifetime of the trailer due to uneven wear. Back in the 2010’s I had noticed that there was one tire that was wearing on the outer side of the tire. I took it to the local horse trailer dealer/repair/service and they told me that one of the axels was bent. I was told that it was not really a safety problem, other than the tire wear, meaning it was not a safety issue to haul my horses. Straightening it back out was not an option because that would actually make the axel weaker. At the time they tried to find a replacement but were unable to find anything similar. My guess is that they didn’t look outside of US manufacturers but I don’t know that for sure. I have used the trailer regularly for 19+ years and have not had any problems. As I said, I have replaced that one tire (which I honestly don’t remember which one it is) 2 times in 19 years. And lastly, the trailer does not have the flip up storm section on the ramp/door. That flip up piece was always down because I wanted the airflow for the horses. It got wet and gross whenever I hosed out the trailer and it started to get waterlogged so I took it off and got rid of the wooden piece. I believe that I still have the hardware for it and will look around for it and include with whoever ends up with it if they want to fashion another to go on it. I had always intended to do that but just never got around to it.Kind of a less important issue, the mat on the ramp is beginning to show cracks. It doesn’t have any holes or areas sticking up but, my guess is that it could use being re-matted. Same with the mat on the floor of the tack. It has gotten a little janked over the years and could use being replaced. And, the rims need to be repainted or replaced - not because there is anything wrong with them other than the chrome has flaked off over the years.The tires are all good and have lots of tread left. I am asking $4500 due to the need of replacing that section of floor.
