19th c Italianate Landscape Painting
- This comes as shown and measures approx
27 3/8 x 22 1/8\" (frame) and 24.25 x 19\" (canvas) - This piece has all the normal signs of an old
painting. It has been lightly dusted but no other cleaning
has been done. Past repairs are noted on the back.
Frame is original to the piece. - The view here appears to be the Bay of Naples but this
could be wrong. - We can find no signature on this piece.
- This piece was found in a storage unit in Baton Rouge,
LA. Originally part of a larger estate of an art collector
who also had a gallery in downtown BR. They would
purchase art on buying trips throughout Europe and
some would become inventory in the store, some would
