Arms crossed.Eyebrows permanently set to “I said what I said.”Four eggs displayed like trophies.
And somehow she’s also AM/FM.
I love this era so much because absolutely no one asked, “Does this make sense?”
They just did it.
This is the original 1999 Bunty AM/FM Radio from Chicken Run.Not a reissue.Not a reproduction.Not a nostalgic throwback.
This is first-wave claymation poultry capitalism.
And she has never been freed.
Still in the box.Still secured.Still sitting in her cardboard barn like it’s 1999 and someone is about to beg their mom for batteries.
She has never blasted NSYNC.She has never been tuned aggressively to static.Her battery compartment has never known chaos.
She has simply existed.
Waiting.
The box itself is honestly a time capsule.Bright barn graphics.Big bubbly late-90s font.Plastic window still intact with that slight natural age ripple that only vintage packaging develops when it survives two decades without being crushed in a toy chest.
Edges show normal, dignified shelf life.Not “fell off a truck.”Not “stored in a swamp.”Just normal aging like the rest of us.
And here’s the thing that makes this funny in a serious way:
Used ones are floating around out there.
This one?Still contained.
Still judging.
