Overview
James Rizzi’s That Loving Touch, a signed 1997 hand-cut silkscreen triptych with three-dimensional construction from the Funny Faces I suite. Numbered 291/350 and accompanied by the original John Szoke Graphics/FAPA documentation.
The three-part composition is especially strong in person, with layered faces, hands, hearts, and other cut elements projecting above the printed surface and creating substantial depth across all three panels.

The accompanying 1997 documentation identifies the work and records its production process. The image was drawn by Rizzi and printed by the printer, with the master subsequently hand-painted by the artist. Color separations and color runs were supervised by Rizzi, and the resulting printed elements were hand-cut and assembled at the artist’s studio to create the dimensional construction.
The documented edition consists of 350 numbered impressions, 50 artist’s proofs, and an additional Roman-numbered edition of 100.
Condition
Artwork appears bright and well preserved, with the dimensional construction intact and pronounced throughout the three panels. Unframed. Original documentation shows fold creases from storage. Please review all photographs, particularly the low-angle and close-up views showing the layered construction.
