Here is a cool and increasingly collectible 1995 Washburn N1 Nuno Bettencourt signature electric guitar in classic black. Made in Korea during the original 1990s production period, the N1 delivers much of the fast-playing feel and stripped-down attitude associated with Nuno’s higher-end Washburn models at a much more affordable price.
This guitar features a lightweight contoured solid body, a bolt-on maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, two powerful Washburn Eliminator humbuckers, and an extremely simple control layout consisting of one master volume control and a three-way pickup selector. The traditional fulcrum tremolo provides smooth pitch effects without the added complexity of a locking tremolo system.
At only 6 pounds, 7.71 ounces, this is an exceptionally comfortable guitar for long rehearsals, gigs, or recording sessions. The neck feels quick and inviting, while the dual-humbucker configuration provides plenty of output for rock, hard rock, metal, and other high-energy styles.
This guitar is in very good used condition, especially considering that it is now more than 30 years old. It shows some normal light scratches, small marks, and honest signs of previous use, but it presents very well overall. Please examine all of the supplied photographs, as they show the actual guitar you will receive and form an important part of the condition description.
A pinup-girl sticker has been placed on the tremolo spring-cavity cover on the back. We thought it gave the guitar a little extra personality, so we elected to leave it in place. It appears that it could be removed fairly easily if the new owner prefers the original all-black appearance.
The tremolo arm and a gig bag are included. This guitar is ready to play and would make an excellent choice for an Extreme or Nuno Bettencourt fan, a collector of vintage Korean Washburn guitars, or any player looking for a lightweight and highly playable rock machine.
