The Libertad is one of the world’s most recognizable modern silver issues, featuring Mexico’s national emblem of the eagle and serpent on the obverse and the Winged Victory monument set against the volcanic peaks of Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl on the reverse.
The 1995 issue is considerably scarcer than the high-mintage Libertads of many later years, making attractive certified examples particularly desirable to collectors of the series.
