Signatures have not been professionally authenticated.Description: Vintage 1988 Vanderbilt University Commodores team-signed Wilson football featuring a large number of player autographs across virtually the entire ball.Research comparing the visible names and jersey numbers to Vanderbilt rosters indicates this is from the 1988 Vanderbilt Commodores football team.Visible/significant names appear to include Boo Mitchell, Brad Gaines, Mills Fleming and numerous additional Vanderbilt players.Boo Mitchell was one of Vanderbilt’s standout receivers and had an exceptional senior season in 1988 with 78 receptions for 1,213 yards.The football itself is a vintage Wilson Duke model and displays very well, with signatures covering nearly every panel. It shows age, surface wear and discoloration consistent with a football of this period.The autographs have not been professionally authenticated. Identification is based on comparison of the visible signatures/numbers with Vanderbilt roster information.
