Roy Thomas and Dann Thomas story with Gerry Conway as co-plotter, Jonni Thunder#3 features the pencils and inks of Dick Giordano. Very loosely based on Johnny Thunder of the JSA but with a female lead and a strong detective story that just happens to have a superhero (as opposed to a superhero story with detective overtones), Jonni Thunder was a solid, if now mostly forgotten, classic 80\'s mini-series.
Please note- this is an actual, original piece of artwork pencilled and inked by Giordano. It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original! This is the last page of the issue and features Jonni in both her human form and as the Thunderbolt as well as her love interest, Harry Trump, and the golden statue that gives her her super powers. The issue cover and the final, colorized page as it appears in the book are shown for reference. But please note that the comic itself is not included in with the listing. The listing is for the original artwork only. In excellent condition, it will be shipped with the utmost care. Measures approximately 11 by 17 inches and includes its original vellum overlay (which is in fair condition- see scans).
