A major engine service was completed around the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 after a broken cylinder head stud was discovered. The engine was removed and the top end rebuilt with new head studs, refurbished cylinder heads, a valve job, new gaskets and rocker seals, and a pressure-fed timing chain tensioner upgrade. A rebuilt warm-up regulator and spark plugs were also installed, while the clutch assembly and flywheel were replaced at the same time. The work was recorded at 16,013 indicated miles.
The car is accompanied by an extensive collection of service records and documentation, along with factory literature, a Porsche Classic tool kit, jack, spare tire, tire carrying bag, and convertible top boot cover.
The mechanical odometer currently displays 17,066 miles. Records indicate that the original odometer was replaced in 05/2007 at 15,517 miles and the replacement unit began again at zero, so total chassis mileage is considered unknown.
