Offered for sale is this beautifully preserved 1975 Triumph Trident T160, finished in its distinctive white and yellow color scheme with gold pinstriping.
This T160 is a January 1975 example, according to Triumph\'s production numbering system.
Both the frame and engine are stamped T160AK01082, providing matching engine and frame numbers.
The Smiths speedometer currently shows approximately 19,489 miles, which are believed to be correct.
The motorcycle has recently undergone documented mechanical service and recommissioning and is being offered with a clean title in the owner\'s name.
ABOUT THE TRIUMPH T160
The T160 represented the final development of Triumph\'s original three-cylinder Trident line and incorporated a number of significant refinements over the earlier Trident models.
Power comes from Triumph\'s 741cc air-cooled OHV inline three-cylinder engine, fed by three Amal carburetors and paired with a five-speed transmission.

The motorcycle is finished in white and yellow with gold metallic pinstriping.
The paint appears and is believed to be original.
We cannot independently document the paint as factory-original, so we prefer to describe it conservatively rather than make an originality claim that cannot be substantiated.

RECENT MECHANICAL SERVICE
In January 2026, the motorcycle underwent documented mechanical service and recommissioning by Time Machine Garage in Appleton, Wisconsin.
The work included:
• Engine compression testing before and after service
• Engine oil and filter change
• Fuel tank flushed and rinsed
• Fresh fuel added
• Three Amal carburetors cleaned and rebuilt using genuine Amal parts
• Fuel line replaced
• Carburetor intake boot rubbers replaced
• Airbox grommets replaced
• Crankcase-to-airbox boot replaced
• Battery charged
• Carburetors adjusted
• Both fuel petcocks replaced
• Handlebar grips replaced
• Left and right mirrors replaced
• Right mirror mount repaired
Following the work, compression was recorded at:
Left Cylinder – 150 psi
Center Cylinder – 145 psi
Right Cylinder – 155 psi
The motorcycle is also equipped with a Tri-Spark electronic ignition system.
The service documentation will be included with the motorcycle.
WHEELS, BRAKES & TIRES
The motorcycle rides on traditional wire-spoke wheels and is equipped with front and rear disc brakes.
Dunlop Roadmaster TT100-style tires are currently fitted.
The rear tire displays a 2314 date code and does not exhibit obvious sidewall deterioration that we have observed.
The front tire is also older and exhibits slight visible sidewall cracking.
Because of the age of the tires, we recommend that the new owner evaluate their condition and consider replacement before regular road use.
Age-related surface oxidation and discoloration are visible on portions of the brake rotors and related components. Please refer closely to the photographs.
As with any vintage motorcycle, we recommend that the new owner inspect the braking system, tires, fluids, and other safety-related components before regular road use.

The Smiths speedometer indicates approximately:

The mileage is believed to be correct, although documentation sufficient to independently certify the motorcycle\'s complete mileage history is not available.
