Used OEM instrument cluster removed from a 1975 Datsun B210.
Bench Testing Performed
Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge was tested using simulated fuel-sender resistance and responded smoothly throughout its range.
Temperature Gauge
The temperature gauge was tested using simulated temperature-sender resistance and responded smoothly throughout its range.
Warning / Indicator Lights
The following warning and indicator lights were individually bench tested and illuminated properly: CHARGE, OIL, BRAKE, HIGH BEAM
Instrument Illumination
All three instrument illumination bulbs were powered and tested. All three illuminated properly.
Speedometer
The mechanical speedometer cable input was manually rotated counterclockwise and the speedometer needle responded properly. Speedometer calibration was not tested against a known road speed.
Fitment
Intended for Datsun B210 applications. This style is associated with approximately 1975-1978 B210 models.
Please compare the cluster face, mounting points, wiring connector, speedometer configuration and photos with your original part before purchase. Vintage Datsun production and trim differences can affect compatibility.
This is for the B210-generation Datsun and should not be confused with the later 1979-1982 Datsun 210/B310.
Condition
This is an original approximately 50-year-old used component and will show normal age and cosmetic wear. Please review all photos carefully for the exact physical and cosmetic condition.
The electrical gauges, warning lights, illumination lights and mechanical speedometer response were bench tested as described above. The cluster was not installed and road tested in a vehicle after removal.
