This historic July 3, 1969 NASA photograph captures the crew of Apollo 11—Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin Jr.—at Kennedy Space Center during the final weeks of preparation for humanity’s first lunar landing mission.
