1967-68 Minnesota North Stars Vintage Art Ross Pucks w/ PAT# Display Set of 2 🔥: $425.00
THE ULTIMATE MINNESOTA NORTH STARS VINTAGE ART ROSS GAME PUCK DISPLAY PAIR - 1967 Inaugural PAT# Mold + 1970s Fused Rubber InlayItem OverviewUp for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-grade Two-Puck Historical Display Set tracking the peak manufacturing eras of the legendary Art Ross Tyer / Converse Puck Company for the Minnesota North Stars. If you are a serious vintage hockey historian, you know the absolute frustration of displaying game pucks—you can only show off one side at a time. This curated pair completely solves that problem, allowing you to showcase an immaculate, scratch-free front logo alongside the highly coveted 1967-68 North Stars Inaugural Season with the Art Ross patent #2226516 text layout side-by-side on your shelf! The Two Pieces Included: - 👑 Puck 1 (The Reverse Showpiece): 1967-68 Inaugural Season Converse Art Ross PAT#2226516 Puck
- Features the highly coveted, legendary Pat. 2226516 raised text stamped directly inside the deep-recessed octagonal steel mold. This is a true one-year-only style locked to the North Stars\' absolute first year of franchise existence!
- 🥈 Puck 2 (The Front Showpiece): Mid-1970s Fused Multi-Color Rubber Inlay Puck
- Features an absolutely stunning, pristine front-facing green and yellow North Stars logo. Unlike cheap modern souvenir pucks that use fragile paper or plastic decals, this era utilized a solid, dyed rubber emblem cooked right into the vulcanized body—it cannot be torn or peeled! Is it the same exact front, style, and color as the Pat # puck. While the Pat # puck\'s back is easily readable this one is screen printed and rubbed off during use, based on my previous research and visual comparisons to the Pat# puck, I do NOT believe this is also a PAT # puck, just a 1970s Art Ross Converse, prior to when the company implemented using sticker inlays which you see on most 1970s Art Ross Pucks.
The Perfect Combo Dynamic:This pair was specifically curated for high-end shelf display. Puck 2 provides the vibrant, scratch-free front face, while Puck 1 provides the elite, historically significant patent back-plate text. Together, they form an unmatchable conversation piece for any State of Hockey collection.Condition:Both pucks show genuine historic patina and character. They are houses in acrylic puck boxes. They have been wiped down with simply a paper towel to show their most intriguing features, no water or liquid has come into contact with either puck. Both pucks show game use as observed from the concentric circles on the front and back as well as small indentations from rink board collisions. The Pat # puck appears to have also had hockey tape applied to it sometime in the past and has been removed.Shipping:They will be packaged with absolute collector-level care, heavily bubble-wrapped, and shipped in a rigid box to guarantee they arrive safely at your doorstep. Order will be tracked, id be happy to add insurance and signature requirements per your request. I am also located near the Mall of America and the site of the old Met Center in Richfield, MN if you\'d prefer local pick up, that is also an option. Bundle & Save: All reasonable offers are considered! Please check out my other listings for more sports memorabilia, vintage pucks, and ticket stubs.
