1966 Fender Custom Shop Precision Jazz Bass LTD For Sale

The 1966 Fender Custom Shop Precision Jazz Bass LTD is a highly sought-after special edition bass guitar manufactured by Fender. This model features a right-handed design with an Alder body material and a Rosewood fretboard with a pearl block inlay. The maple neck adds to the quality and tone of this custom shop precision jazz bass, making it a valuable addition to any bass player's collection. Only a handful of these were made in the custom shop, making this bass extremely rare and highly collectible. It was made of 2021 and shortly thereafter, the individual responsible for the accoutrements of this amazing bass guitar was let go due to a meme about Black Lives Matter, and the only person I know who got let go from custom shop for doing that lol was a dear friend of mine named John Cruz, who factually was a master builder in the custom shop. I do not have the COA for this bass guitar, but I am pretty sure you can contact Fender and get a copy and they don’t charge for that. I own an original 1966 precision jazz bass factory made with the precision body from 1966, along with an original 1966 jazz bass stamped neck made in the factory that way. This is not a P-base where somebody just added a jazz bass neck. This is factory made this way, just like my original 66. That is my favorite bass configuration in the world, and I will never sell the original. This was hooked up to some type of soundboard and played through my 1966 AMPEG B-15 N flip top amplifier, and if you know anything about that specific year, AMPEG, then you know that is the ultimate sounding bass guitar amp highly sought after by players and collectors worldwide. In fact, I will go as far to say that up in heaven, and I don’t mean to be blasphemous because I’m a god-fearing man… Jesus Christ plays a 66 Jazz Precision through a 66 AMPEG B 15 Flip top! That’s why this bass guitar sounds so heavenly! LOL that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!!! if you ever played anything, I don’t care if it’s a two dollar bass guitar with one string on it… Play that through a 66 AMPEG B-15 flip top amplifier and you will have a one string slice of pure heaven… There will never be another amplifier like that made ever. I own all of the current flip-top cabinets and all of the new AMPEG heads, and nothing even comes close to this amplifier. When compared with the original 66, I will be honest. The sound was very similar, which proves that custom shop did an amazing job reproducing the original 66 in both sound and looks. Good luck adding this to your collection. There was one on reverb just like this from the music zoo that sold for $5500 three months ago. Original cost at the factory for this bass guitar is $4895 sold through musical zoo to me for $5150 and I bought two of them, the only two that they had. One I gave to my son, this one is up for grabs.
