French Line - A wool blanket as used aboard such ships as the ILE DE FRANCE and LIBERTE in the 1950s.
The blanket measures 60" by 72". "C.G.T." is embroidered at both the top and bottom along with a date of 1952. A manufacturer's tag shows a ram along with the French word for wool, "laine".
Very good to excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.
