1950/60s Vintage Craftsman Heavy Meat Cleaver Wood Handle Brass Rivets:
$400.00
I have an old Craftsman Meat Cleaver from the 1950s or 60s that is one of my most favorite antique store finds to date. The original handle was cracked so I had a buddy who is very skilled in black smithing and restoration replace the handle with new brass rivets and it turned out looking great. The blade has some rounding on the backside where it’s clear a kitchen mallet/meat bat was used to strike the spine of the blade a time or two to cut it through tough meat I’m assuming. But the blade will an actually in really good shape and could be sharpened and used if desired. Blade has a clear craftsman stamp and a nice patina. I am in the process of moving and could really offload some things I’ve collected over the years, but I do love this piece and hope someone else will get to enjoy it like I have however they wish to use it. Will gladly send more pictures and Info to whoever interested, will ship to the lower 48. Thanks for viewing and have a great day.
