An interesting Connecticut local-history volume covering towns and cities, mountains, governors, and industries throughout the state. Illustrated throughout, with attractive historical material including an 1847 map of Hartford and decorative Connecticut map endpapers.
The book remains solid and readable. Blue cloth binding shows age-related wear, rubbing and soiling, with noticeable fraying/wear at the top of the spine. There is foxing, particularly to the endpaper area, a previous owner\'s name written inside, and some scattered staining/spotting including the small stain pictured on an interior page. Interior pages are generally clean and well preserved for the age.
