Vintage 1947-50 Zippo Nickel Silver Lighter Insert Pat 2032695 Insert vintage condition with scratches, discoloration, tarnish, residue and general wear consistent with age and use. Please carefully review all photos for the exact cosmetic vintage Zippo lighter insert believed to date from approximately 1947–1950.
This insert is constructed of nickel silver and carries the early Patent No. 2032695 marking. The patent number is faint and difficult to see due to age and wear, but it is present beneath the ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD, PA. marking.
The insert includes the flint wheel, cam assembly which is loose (I do not see the cam spring present) chimney and felt pad shown. Its operating condition has not been tested, so it may require fuel, a new flint, wick replacement, cleaning or other servicing before use.
Important: This listing is for the Zippo insert only. No outer lighter case is included.
A nice original replacement part or display piece for a vintage Zippo collector or restoration project.
