The book retains its attractive burgundy/red hardcover with gold spine lettering and decoration. Inside are the classic anatomical illustrations for which Gray’s Anatomy is known, including detailed skeletal, muscular, vascular and nervous-system illustrations.
This was clearly aworking medical/reference copy rather than an untouched collector copy. Previous ownership information is written inside, and a number of pages contain period-looking medical annotations, underlining and study marks. These markings add some character as an old medical study/reference book but are important condition issues for collectors.
A substantial vintage medical volume suitable for a Gray’s Anatomy collection, medical-history collection, reference library or display.
