Here\'s a really iconic and historic photo of the 1940 Santa Anita Handicap, which was the last and most famous race for Seabiscuit. This has been authenticated by PSA as an original news service photo and is a Type 1 photo, meaning it\'s a first generation photo from the original negative within two years of the photo being taken, and in this case would have been within a few hours or a day or two of the race. The photo itself is 7\"x9\" and the sealed case is about 10\"x13\". It is still wrapped in the outer plastic from PSA. The photo just has some very light wear and a touch of waviness but appears to be in wonderful condition. Please note on the back where it looks like there is some staining or water damage, that is just from the plastic case pressing up against the photo. Also please ignore the shadows and glare as this is hard to capture in photos.
