Offered here is a group of four 1939 FAM-18 Transatlantic Air Mail first-flight covers, each bearing the signature of Captain Arthur E. La Porte, associated with Pan American Airways\' pioneering transatlantic flying-boat service.
The four covers represent different sections/directions of the historic 1939 FAM-18 Southern Route and form a particularly attractive group for collectors of Pan American Airways, Clipper mail, aerophilately and early transatlantic aviation.

These covers came from a specialized collection of 1939 Pan American FAM-18 transatlantic postal history assembled with route and flight documentation.
The signatures appear directly on the covers and are attributed in the collection to Captain Arthur E. La Porte. They have not been independently authenticated or certified, and are therefore being sold as shown.
Condition is consistent with genuine postal-history material of this age, with normal handling, toning, edge wear and other age-related imperfections visible in the photographs.
