Specialized CE2 Plate Blocks
This lot includes two different specialized CE2 plate-number configurations, rather than duplicate ordinary plate blocks:
- F21498 / 21494 - Type II

Scott #771 Farley Issue
Scott #771 was issued in 1935 as part of the group commonly known as Farley’s Follies. It reproduces the Great Seal Air Post Special Delivery design and was intentionally produced imperforate and without gum. The ungummed reverse of the #771 block is therefore correct for the issue and not a condition fault.
Scott CE2
Scott CE2 followed in 1936 and features the Great Seal design printed in attractive carmine and blue, perforated 11.
Both CE2 blocks retain their top selvage, plate numbers, and original gum, as shown in the photographs.
