This is a barn fresh 1932 ford flathead v8 cast aluminum oil pan. Ford rushed out the new v8 so fast that they had not yet tooled up to stamp a steel oil pan so they made a pattern and cast them for 1932 and very early 1933. The first 1932 had no dipstick hole, this is the 2nd version with dipstick hole, used from mid 32 into early 33 until they ran out I assume. I welcome any corrections in my history. Included is the oil pump, although I do not have the bolt in windage tray. Bolt holes all look pretty good, no huge cracks or wasted threads. See photos for scuffs and general wear.
