Its difficult to determine exactly origin and use, as it\'s no typical promo item which would be to engage simply by seeing it. A delicate tissue overlay is odd, as a giveaway, promo, or even press item. Idk as of listing where it would\'ve been intended (any info anyone could supply would be helpful).
Whatever it is it\'s pretty cool, and nearly a century old. Size is 8x10, heavy stock, with Hollywood Fanfare stamp on reverse.
Condition of this roughly 90 year old item sees most of the age and wear going to the overlay (I\'m not sure but it\'s possible the names on the overlay are hand painted).
Overlay has wrinkling and age deepening, with the lower left tip gone. It also has some tearing to it, though somehow miraculously the names are intact. Tearing is at top center Loretta Young, and extends down through Constance Talmadge, Marion Davies, and Greta Nissen. This flattens and doesn\'t hamper visual display too much.
Photo itself has light age and is ow EX/better. Reverse is clean except for the origin stamp, and the adhesive for the overlay which has yellowed.
