Beautiful 1928 Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH / Plazuid) Gouda art pottery vase, hand decorated in a richly colored Art Deco floral design.
The vase has an unusual and very attractive form, with a rounded ovoid body, narrow flared neck, ribbed lower section, pedestal foot, and broad rolled rim. The decoration features stylized floral motifs in turquoise, cobalt blue, rust-orange, green, cream, and yellow against a dark ground.
The underside is extensively hand marked and appears to identify:

Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland was one of the principal manufacturers of Gouda art pottery and became especially well known for its richly decorated Art Nouveau and Art Deco wares.
The combination of the Bosch décor, pattern number 165, and unusual Model 4337 form makes this an especially interesting example for a Gouda or Dutch art pottery collection.
