Offering a scarce and beautiful NGC-graded MS-65 French 2-Franc coin. This is the nicest piece from a half roll I acquired more than 20 years ago. This coin has wire rims and a mottled blue/amber toned obverse and reverse. These are very difficult to find in Gem BU condition, because a large percentage were recalled and melted by the French government before seeing circulation, and those which remained were kept in cloth mint bags which allowed coins to knock against each other.
