This exceptionally struck, high-relief 1913-A Prussia 3 Mark commemorative silver coin is an iconic issue. It marked the 100th anniversary of King Frederick William III\'s famous 1813 appeal to the Prussian people (\"Der König rief und alle, alle kamen\") and the uprising against Napoleon.
This uncertified specimen exhibits impressive high-relief sculptural detail across both sides. The central reverse scene—depicting Frederick William III on horseback surrounded by the cheering populace—retains sharp, vivid definition in the figures, banners, and horse musculature. The obverse features the dynamic Imperial eagle clutching a serpent with crisp feathers and bold lettering. It retains attractive residual mint luster that cartwheels lightly when rotated under direct light. There is toning along the outer rims and some minor surface issues as visible in the photos.
