This spring plug is required for properinstallationof any 1911 muzzle Brake
Barrelbushing style compensator for Government (5”) barrel 1911 Autos.
Will fit Commander (4.25”) barrel or Officer/Compact (4” orshorter).

- Fits Government/Commander length 1911 Autos with a barrel ODbetween .577"-581". Thebushing ID. Is .583" +-.0005".
- Fits calibers up to and including .45 acp. Can fit .38and 9mm
- Minor fitting may be required
- Not compatiblewith bull barrels. This compensator is not threaded.
- Suppresses recoil by venting gasses at muzzle andadding weight to the end of your barrel.

What are the most common fitment issues I may encounter when installing an after market compensator?
- Some buyers may find that they need to modify the locking lug on the compensator because the fit is too tight. If you are comfortable making modifications yourself you can usually do so with either a dremel or fine grit sandpaper. If not we recommend consulting a gunsmith.
- If your stock spring plug is longer than 1.2" you will most likely either have to shorten your spring plug or use a Commander spring plug instead.
Installation:
Start with the barrel and guide rodinstalled in the slide
Insert spring and then insert springcap.
Depress the spring cap withthumb. With spring cap depressed, insertcompensator and twist into place.
Removal:
Insert the back side of a 3/8” drillbit or dowel pin with a diameter of .399" to depress spring cap.
Twist compensator counterclockwiseto the 4 0’clock position
Remove compensator.
DO NOT forcethe compensator onto your barrel. These mayrequire minor fitting depending on your barrel and slide combination, butshould fit right onto a stock configured gun. I highly encourage you tocontact me or visit a gunsmith if you have any issues regarding the fit of thecompensator.
Only use Standard Ammunition with these compensators.
DO NOT use over pressure rounds ie P+ or P++
