Antique 7-volume set from The Electrical Engineer Institute of Correspondence Instruction, New York, dating to the early 1900s.
The volumes contain instructional material from an early correspondence-school program in electrical engineering and related technical subjects. The set includes Volumes I through VII and is an interesting piece of early electrical engineering, technical education, and correspondence-school history.
Visible material includes Arithmetic Instruction Papers and other engineering coursework issued by The Electrical Engineer Institute of Correspondence Instruction, 240-242 West 23d Street, New York.
This is an original period set, not a modern reproduction.
CONDITION:
The books show substantial age and wear. The bindings and spine coverings have heavy deterioration, rubbing, losses, tears, exposed underlying material, edge wear, and general handling wear. Volumes VI and VII have especially significant loss to the spine covering. Pages show age toning and scattered discoloration consistent with age.
Because of the age and condition of the bindings, the books should be handled carefully.
The set is being offered primarily as an antique collectible, historical engineering reference, or display/archive piece.
Includes the seven volumes shown in the photos. No additional books, papers, or accessories are included.
Photos are part of the description. Please review them carefully, as they show the actual item included in this listing.
