An 1899 receipt issued by Maryland Ag\'l. Experiment Station to Dorsey Thompson for wheat purchased. Receipt signed by H. G. Patterson. I note Dorsey Thompson was a farmer and land owner in Ellicott City, Maryland. Very good condition, folded several times up / down, and folded once across. The receipt measures about 8\" across x 3 1/4\" high. A generic type receipt rubber stamped at bottom right by Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station. Perforated left edge as made., minor stains.SHIPPING $1.50 by First Class Mail to addresses in the United States. SHIPPING SCHEDULE. Payments made by 9 a.m. Eastern Time Zone Monday thru Friday the lot is mailed the same day. Payments after 9 a.m. Friday or on Saturday or Sunday the lot is mailed on Monday. If Monday is a U.S. Holiday, it will be mailed on Tuesday. I mark all lots as shipped once I package the item even if it goes out later per this shipping schedule.
