Antique late-19th-century atlas containing maps and geographical information from the period, including maps of the United States, cities, and locations throughout the world.
The copyright page states:
“Entered according to the Act of Congress in the year 1898 by George F. Cram in the Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington.”
CONDITION:
This atlas has significant antique wear and binding damage. The exterior cover has extensive rubbing, discoloration, scuffing, edge wear, worn corners, and areas where the covering material has broken away. The spine/binding is particularly worn and has areas of separation and exposed underlying material.
The interior does have some age-related staining, discoloration, wrinkles and wear, particularly to the early pages. Overall, though, it is in surprisingly good condition throughout the rest of the book. Please note the photographs carefully.
I have not attempted to clean, repair, glue, or otherwise restore this atlas.
