Library records document the Werner publication as an important pictorial record of the Columbian Exposition, with the complete series issued in individual parts during 1893–1894. Contains large black-and-white photographic views and detailed contemporary captions depicting the buildings, exhibits, architecture, people and cultural displays of the World’s Columbian Exposition. Art Series No. 10 is documented as containing several photographs associated specifically with this installment. Condition:
Antique condition with expected age-related wear. The front cover is loose/detached from the binding, with edge wear, small tears/chips, staining and general handling wear visible. The remaining interior pages appear to remain secured in the original binding. Pages show normal age toning and scattered foxing/soiling consistent with a publication from 1894. Based on inspection, the publication appears complete, although the individual sheets have not been independently compared against a bibliographic collation.
