CONDITION:
Spine/Binding: The premium full-leather spine exhibits some historical wear. There is a tear at atthe top (head) and bottom of the spine visible from the exterior. The gold gilt lettering and detailing remain highly legible.
This does not affect the pages or interior of the book, just the cover.
Interior Pages: The title page, prefaces, and text blocks are intact. The pages show expected age-toning common for paper from the 1890s, but they remain remarkably clean, crisp, and free from heavy writing or major stains.
This remains a beautiful, authentic piece of late Victorian Americana perfect for display, historical reference, or a restoration project to correct the tear.
