A massive book of interest to vintage agriculturiest, first published in 1881. The subtitles on the titlle page pretty much describe the contents in condensed fullness, and even though we showed many illustrated pages in the sample pictures, no listing could do that content justice. As you cxan see, there is even a large fold-out on Horse Teeth! These internal pages were very difficult to scan because of the book\'s thikness and the precarious condition of the front hinge.
Orighinal 19th century copies of this book are quite scarce, and fairly high priced. This copy has some edects described below, but is still a worthy collectible. A thick and heavy volume, the shipping vost is considerble, even with USPS Media Mail.
BOOK DESCRIPTION/CONDITION: 1890 Printing. Thick 4to - over 9¾\" - 12\" tall. Full leasther binding with titles in gilt over black background, marble colored endpapers, all page edges marbled. Spine leather chipped top and bottom. Front board held on tenuously only by binding strings. First endpaper and first two color plates separated from binding, otherwise binding okay. Missing one foldout. One page (151/152, horse picture, see sample photos) partially cu-out but present. The rest of the interior is Good. 6 1/2\" x 10\" x 3 1/4\"
