Particularly attractive original Victorian decorative binding in red with elaborate black and gilt floral decoration and gilt title panels on the front board and spine. Decorative floral endpapers.
Condition: Antique book with age-related wear. The binding retains strong color and attractive gilt decoration. Notable fraying, cloth loss and wear at the head of the spine, along with rubbing and wear to the spine ends, edges and corners. Interior pages have uniform age toning.
