Up for sale is a well-preserved original 1873 antique hardcover copy of "Memoir of the Life and Religious Labours of Henry Hull," printed in Philadelphia for sale at the historic Friends' Book-Store on Arch Street.
Henry Hull was a prominent 19th-century Quaker minister from Stanford, New York. His memoirs provide a fascinating first-hand account of early American Quakerism, detailed travel logs across the early American frontier, and powerful historic text confronting and opposing the practice of slavery and the slave trade in the United States.
