1847 VICTORIAN ANTIQUE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER CUT CRYSTAL BOX HALLMARKED RARE For Sale

Rare 1847 Antique Victorian sterling Silver and cut crystal box that is hallmarked. I believe it was made by William Hunter and Thomas Hubbard Bristish Silversmiths with the mark WH over TH. It has the Lion ( sterling) Uncrowned Leopard's Head for London, Gothic M which dates it to 1847 and a profile of Queen Victoria that was used from 1838-1890.The Repousse Sterling lid is a heavy gauge repousse Bird on Perch and one standing that is under the seashell with berries, flowers and leaves with a monogram in the center. The seashell unscrews to open the box and screws down tight. The cut glass crystal bottom is clear with a square cut top. There are some small chips/ fleabits mainly on the corners commensurate from and and use. I had to use a loop to see them and didn't find them to distract from it's beauty, For 179 years old I find it in amazing condition.Any blue you see on the sterling is a reflection of the top I was wearing. . When shipping parcel post your item can take up to 7-10 days and those are BUSINESS DAYS I ship within 24 hours of your cleared payment MONDAY-FRIDAY often saturdays if I am home from estate sales prior to the post office closing.I do not ship Sunday or holidays .

I am happy to combine shipping when ever possible unless the items are two large to combine. I use bubble wrap, foam , tissue, syrofoam peanuts to have your sale arrive safe and sound. I pack the way I would want and item shipped

Terms of Sale

All of the items I list are ESTATE/ garage sale antique vintage items and have been preowned even if they were never used.

They are not new and show varying signs of age ,wear yellowing from storage in linens and clothing.

They vary from 30 to 100 years old even though I would not know if items purchased are from pet free smoke free homes you can figure they would have some type of odor.

Unless I state that I have personally drycleaned or laundered them it would be the responsibilty of the buyer to dryclean or launder them. I describe items to the best of my knowledge and put numerous photos for you to look at please use them as part of the description
