The Lombard Street despatch datestamp underinked but clear enough to confirm it was sent within the short lived UNIFORM 4d POST period which only listed for 5 weeks from 5th DEC 1839. The writer may be ROBERT CURLING but am not certain, legal and financial matters inside, tear on flap has archival tape repair, the heading date inside looks like 1829 but am sure it is 1839.
