1831 President Andrew Jackson Signed Land Grant - Very Large Signature For Sale

The Document is an original original land grant document dated November 13th 1831 signed by President Andrew Jackson. In addition to the President, Elijah Haywood who was the Commissioner of the General Land Office. This specific land grant was issued to Josiah Raines and gave him land in Cahaba, Alabama.

This almost 200 year old document isn’t in the best of shape, as can be seen in the photos. There are folds, many wrinkles, and some tears on it, but what it lacks in condition it makes up for with Jackson’s signature which is a whopping 6.5 inches long and one inch tall! See the photo with the ruler next to it. Also, the seal in the lower lefthand corner is fully intact with no damage.
