I have never seen such a perfect condition medal that is over 200 years old like this example except in Proof coins; this may be the finest known example of this medal in existence. I could only locate one example that has appeared at sale, seen in the last photo. It was very worn and damaged, including having a hole drilled into the top. Holed medals are worth about 10% of what the value would be if it was not holed. That sale example did not sell with an opening offer of $100.
