CONTENTS / COMPLETENESS
The volume has been checked for pagination. The 1808 work contains its separately paginated sections, including the Acts (preface plus pages 1-167), the Appendix with index (pages 1-322), and the 1812 Supplement (pages 1-209), plus Errata page.
No missing text pages were found during inspection. Because this is an antiquarian volume more than 200 years old and has not undergone professional bibliographical collation, please refer to the photographs and ask any questions regarding particular leaves or sections before purchasing.
EARLY OWNERSHIP INSCRIPTION
The front endpaper bears a large handwritten early ownership inscription or initials. They appear possibly to read “J.M.D.” or “T.M.D.” The writer has not been identified. No attribution to any particular historical person is being made.
CONDITION
This is an unrestored copy in poor/fair antiquarian condition. The early full-leather binding is heavily worn. There is substantial loss to the leather covering of the spine, significant wear to the boards and edges, and weakness/damage at the hinges and endpapers.
Interior pages exhibit substantial foxing, toning, staining and water staining. There is additional age-related wear, including occasional edge/corner damage. Please review the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
Despite its cosmetic and binding condition, the printed contents remain remarkably substantial and readable.
No cleaning, rebinding, restoration, tape or modern repair has been undertaken. The book is being offered in its present state.
